Winter Weather Safety Tips

Here are some tips to keep kids warm and safe this winter.
1. Dress infants and children warmly. Several thin layers will keep them warm and dry.
2. When riding in the car, babies should wear thin snug layers rather than thick bulky outfits or coats.
3. Use sleep clothing like one piece sleepers or wearable blankets. Thick blankets, quilts and loose bedding are associated with suffocation deaths.
4. Set reasonable time limits on outdoor play to prevent hypothermia and frostbite. Come inside periodically to warm up and ensure to quickly remove wet clothing.
Following these few simple tips will allow your little ones to have fun this snow season while keeping them safe ❄️ ⛄️
